Statue #29 from our Sumba Stone collection. Sourced from the Indonesian island of Sumba, these simple stone statues are hand carved from sandstone by local artisans. In the traditional villages of Sumba, statues like these are placed in and around the entrance to the hut, offering protection and healing to those inside. They make a beautiful statement on their own or work beautifully in a group to really make an impression. Hand carved. Each statue is unique. No two statues are exactly the same.
