Kimia Microcement coffee table

Cast in microcement and finished by hand, this coffee table holds the quiet presence of a piece made to last. A rounded top rests on a single pedestal, the form reduced to its essentials, soft in profile and grounded in weight.

I make each table to order, so the colour and shape can be adapted to suit the room it will live in. The standard size shown here is (L) 100 x (W) 93 x (H) 30cm, finished in off-white. A limestone finish is also available, for a more mineral and matte surface.

The original was made for a private home in Fresnaye, Cape Town.
